Ragin' Glory

Forget about the flames and glory, my lovely sin
Oh, how we'll sing with a flickering twang
The starlings come out at night
Mysterious scenes of brassy light

Forget about the page you land on, my drying gin
Oh, how we'll drink to celebrate the stains
We've got tomorrow to lie around
And creepier things are going down

Forget about the ragin' glory

Maybe I'll die for my country or maybe I'll survive
Only if we could fall in love, I'd have my desires
My one desire

But forget about the ragin' glory
